Advancedweb design.
Visual identity, campaign graphics and sites with WebGL, animation and fine interactions, made by Websem, an agency in Bucharest.
What advanced web design means at Websem
Advanced web design, the way Websem does it, means two things that support each other: identity and graphics for a brand (logo, brand guide, brochures, campaign creatives) and interfaces with motion (WebGL heroes, scroll animation, micro-interactions, brand animation).
We don't sell it as a decorative layer. In the portfolio, 18 projects have branding or graphics as a deliverable, and the sites with animation (Sablare Laser, Panama Van, Bitdefender) were built with the motion from day one, not added at the end.
The rule we apply everywhere: motion doesn't hide content. The text and structure of the page stay server-rendered HTML, and the effect attaches after the page has loaded. That keeps the page readable for people searching, for crawlers and for AI engines.
Six things we deliver
- 01
Visual identity and brand guide
Logo, usage rules, colour palette and applications, gathered in a manual the client's team can follow without us.
- 02
Campaign graphics
Banners, social media creatives, brochures and layouts built on the same visual system as the site, so the brand looks the same everywhere.
- 03
WebGL heroes
A background generated in real time (Three.js), loaded after the text and structure of the page are already on screen. The hero above is an example.
- 04
Scroll animation and micro-interactions
Motion built with GSAP and Lenis: parallax, reveals, transitions. Used where it helps reading, not as decoration.
- 05
Interactive presentation interfaces
Configurators, comparison tools and interactive diagrams that let a visitor explore the product instead of reading a list.
- 06
Brand animation
Motion graphics produced from concept to edit and sound, for a short brand film or for the site.
Who it makes sense for, and who it doesn't
It makes sense for brands that have something to show: a product with variants to configure, a workshop whose process has to be understood at a glance, an identity that has to look the same on the site, the brochure and the campaign. There, motion and consistent graphics do work that text can't do alone.
It is delivered in two ways. As part of a site, in the Smart Performance and Static Premium packages, where graphics and animation are part of the brief. Or on their own, through Marketing 360°, for identity, brochures and campaigns. If the goal is to be cited by ChatGPT or Perplexity, start with the AEO service: graphics go on top of it, not in place of it.

Advanced web design: questions and answers
What does advanced web design mean?
Visual identity and campaign graphics, plus interfaces with motion: WebGL heroes, scroll animation, micro-interactions and brand animation. It is delivered together with the site or campaign, with the same design, not as a layer added at the end.
Do you do visual identity, not just websites?
Yes. 18 projects in the portfolio have branding or graphics as a deliverable, including brand guides and materials for Ecoprotect, E-reciclare, PlantExtrakt.
Do WebGL effects slow the site down?
They shouldn't, and we treat them as a performance budget. This page's hero is built that way: the Three.js library is not in the initial bundle but downloads after the text and structure are displayed, and with the reduced-motion setting on, the background stays a still frame. If a site doesn't need the effect, we don't add it.
Does the content stay visible to Google and AI engines if you use animation?
Yes. Text, headings and structured data are server-rendered HTML; the visual effect attaches after load and holds no content. A crawler that doesn't run JavaScript receives the same page as a visitor, minus the effect. This page is the example: the hero uses WebGL, and all the text is in the HTML.
How long does a project like this take?
It depends on scope. As a portfolio reference, the Panama Van site, with 10 pages, an interactive configurator and animation, took about 6 weeks, according to its case study. For your own project, the fastest way to find out is to describe the deliverables through the Contact page.
How does web design relate to visibility in ChatGPT or Perplexity?
Graphics alone don't raise visibility in an AI engine; quotable text, structured data and the brand's presence in outside sources do. We build them together, and animation is not allowed to hide them. For the AI visibility side, the dedicated service is AEO.
