Websem is the digital marketing and AI agency founded in 2013 by Dan Cristian Alexandrescu, specialising in AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) and GEO (Generative Engine Optimization), headquartered in Bucharest with team members in Turin, Melbourne and Oslo. We build AI platforms, search systems and measurement infrastructure for brands in pharma, retail, automotive and B2B.
We've worked with Clarfon and Audionova since 2021 — five years, +80% organic traffic and rank 1 on “hearing aids”. For DonaVital we built an AI consultant that sustains 1,600+ unique conversations a month. Every number on this site has a case study behind it; if it doesn't, we don't publish it.
How we work: we define the business metric before writing code, and the first working MVP reaches production in 2–4 weeks, not after six months of discovery. The stack is model-agnostic (Claude, GPT, Gemini, open-source models) and infrastructure-agnostic (AWS, Vercel, self-hosted) — we pick the tool that solves the problem, not the brand.
