First source in Google AI Mode, top two in AI Overview.
The “Wikipedia page creation” service page on websem.ro, on three Romanian-language queries checked on 14 October 2026, 16 days after it was published.

#1
source shown in Google AI Overview, on the same topic (misspelled, corrected by Google)
#2
source shown in AI Overview, for “ajuta wikipedia la aeo?”
Does websem.ro appear in Google AI answers when someone looks for an agency that creates Wikipedia pages?
Yes, on all three queries checked on 14 October 2026. The service page is the first source in Google AI Mode, the first source in AI Overview on the same topic, and on a question about Wikipedia and AEO it is the second source shown.
From the same page, Google picked different passages depending on the question: the page description in classic search, the FAQ block in AI Overview for agencies, and the “Why it matters for AEO” section for the AEO question.
The AI Mode text also names us, among the generalist digital marketing agencies that offer the service. That framing is Google’s, not a positioning we chose.
What we checked, and how
- 01
Three queries
Three Romanian-language questions typed into Google: “agentie creare pagina wikipedia”, “agentie creare pagina weikipedia” (with a typo) and “ajuta wikipedia la aeo?”.
- 02
Three surfaces
We read what Google showed on each: the AI Mode answer, the AI Overview above the results, and classic search.
- 03
What we noted
Whether websem.ro appears among the sources shown, at what position, which passage of the page appears next to it, and what the text says about us.
- 04
What we did not do
We did not repeat the queries, compare accounts or locations, or measure the visits coming from these appearances.
What Google showed, query by query
01 · Google AI Mode
#1
The page is the first source in the side panel
For “agentie creare pagina wikipedia”, the AI Mode source panel lists three pages: websem.ro, with “Wikipedia page creation for companies and institutions”, then Lumino Digital and garin.ro. Further down, in the section on the types of agencies available, the text names WebSEM among the generalist digital marketing agencies that offer the service.
What the capture shows
websem.ro is in position 1 of the three visible sources, and the name WebSEM appears in the text, linked.
What it does not show
It does not show that the framing is ours: the text says generalist agencies offer the service as a “secondary” one, Google’s wording. Nor does it show that the answer repeats for another user or at another time.

02 · Google AI Overview · classic search
#1
The page is first in AI Overview and in the classic results
For the query with the typo “weikipedia”, Google showed results for “agentie creare pagina wikipedia”. AI Overview puts websem.ro first in the source panel, with the FAQ passage (“Ce organizații au șanse reale de a…”), and lists it first under “Agenții și resurse de specialitate” (agencies and specialist resources). In classic search, the same query returns websem.ro as the first organic result, with the page description.
What the capture shows
websem.ro is in position 1 in the source panel, first in the list of agencies, and the first organic result.
What it does not show
It does not show that the typo helped or hurt us: Google corrected it itself before generating the answer. For the correct spelling, the reference result is the AI Mode one (01).

03 · Google AI Overview
#2
On the AEO question, the page is the second source shown
AI Overview opens by saying the answer depends on what the acronym AEO means. Of the three sources in the panel, websem.ro is second, with the start of the “De ce contează pentru AEO” (why it matters for AEO) section: “Modelele de limbaj au învățat că…”. The other two sources treat AEO as the customs status of Authorised Economic Operator.
What the capture shows
From the page, Google picked the AEO section, not the top of the page: different questions, different passages of the same page.
What it does not show
In the visible part of the answer, the first citation chip is “Seobility +2”; the capture does not show which sentences rest on websem.ro. The page is a source shown, not necessarily a source cited for a given sentence.
Terms used in this study
- Google AI Overview
- The AI-generated answer shown above the classic results in Google Search, with a list of sources next to it.
- Google AI Mode
- Google’s conversational search mode: a question gets an AI-generated answer, with sources in a side panel and the option to continue the dialogue.
- Source shown vs. source cited
- A source shown appears in the answer’s source panel. A source cited appears as a reference next to a specific sentence in the text. The two do not always coincide.
- AEO (Answer Engine Optimization)
- Optimising content so that answer engines can use and attribute it. Watch the homonym: in customs, AEO means Authorised Economic Operator.
- Snapshot
- An observation at one moment, with no repetition. It does not say how stable the result is over time.
What you cannot conclude from these captures
Does this mean we get clients from Google AI?
We have not measured that. The captures show visibility, meaning appearing as a source, not visits or quote requests. The study contains no traffic data.
Is the result stable?
We do not know. Each query was run once, on 14 October 2026, and Google AI answers differ between users, locations and moments. Until a second measurement, it is a snapshot.
Why did the page get there?
We cannot establish the cause from a single observation. All that can be documented: the page was published on 28 September 2026, it is structured around questions (an FAQ, a section dedicated to AEO), and the passages Google shows match those blocks.
Doesn’t the “weikipedia” query spoil the check?
It matters how it is read: Google corrected the spelling and generated the answer for “wikipedia”. That is why we put the AI Mode result, with the correct spelling, first.
Is this an independent study?
No. Websem created the page, observed the result and wrote the study. The screenshots are published whole so every statement can be checked; anyone can run the same queries, knowing the result may differ.
