Does the checklist send my answers anywhere?

No. The ticks are saved exclusively in your browser, via localStorage. The page is static, there is no form behind it, and we cannot see what you ticked. If you clear your browsing data, the progress goes with it.

What counts as a good score?

Above 70% means you've covered the visible side and started building the evidence. Below 40% means you use AI with no framework around it — which, with the transparency deadline already in force, is real exposure. The score isn't a certificate, it's a priority list.

Why do some points count double?

Because they carry a legal deadline that has already taken effect: the transparency obligations in Article 50 of the AI Act (2 August 2026) and the AI literacy requirement in Article 4 (since February 2025). The remaining points are governance good practice — important, but without a deadline.

Is this enough to make us compliant?

No. It's a self-assessment tool that shows you where to look, not a compliance assessment. How your company classifies — especially if you touch high-risk areas like recruitment or credit scoring — is settled with your lawyer or DPO, while we cover the technical and operational side.

Every point is phrased as something you know, or find out with one message to the team. If you can't answer immediately, the answer is “no” — something you can't verify won't stand in for you when a complaint arrives.

The score is an agenda, not a grade
It is not a certificate and has no legal standing. Its value is as a priority list for your next management meeting — which is why the chapters follow the order the work actually happens in.
